By: Senior Pastor, Bryant L. McNeal

This Bible Study lesson is designed to warn you that the spirit of anger is strong in the earth today. Through the power of God’s word and His Holy Spirit you can conquer the spirit of anger. Yield your life to God today! Read the following scripture references to understand more.

Colossians 3:8 – (Anger is a spirit that we must let go of immediately or it will destroy everything meaningful in our lives)

“But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.”

Colossians 3:21 – (We must be careful that we don’t push our children to operate in a spirit of anger or it will later destroy their lives as well)

“Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.”

Numbers 22:27 – (Anger will cause you to act without reason, investigation, and discernment so please be very careful because your anger at times can turn on the ones who love you the most) Please read the whole story to understand more!

“And when the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the donkey with a staff.”

Numbers 24:10 – (Be care of people who get anger when they can’t have things their way. It’s not about us but it’s about God) Please read the whole story to understand more!

“And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.”

Esther 1:12 – (You should never make a decision out of anger because it may cost you in the end and could cause others serious hurt)

“But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king's commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.”
