Servant-Leadership In the Kingdom

This Bible Study lesson is designed to empower servant-leaders in the Kingdom with scriptural references that will expand them to excellence in ministry.

Matthew 20:27 - (A leader or chief in reality is a presidential servant)
“And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:”

Matthew 23:11 - (The greatest must be lead-servant)
“But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.”

Matthew 24:45 - (Servants must be both faithful and wise for favor to be released)
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?”

Matthew 24:46 - (Servants are not lazy nor workless)
“Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.”

Mark 9:35 - (Last and least is equal to being first)
“And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.”

Luke 19:17 - (A good and faithful servant can become Mayor of the city)
“And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.”

John 12:26(A servant must take on the relationship of the cross with their leaders)
“If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.”
